The KuKu Yalanji people are the indigenous inhabitants of the Daintree Rainforest, estimated to have resided in the forest as hunter gatherers for over 9,000 years. The forest wwas the source of food, shelter, resources andothe social structures.<br><br>

On this hour and a half guided walk in the rainforest, learn the survival skills and knowledge gathered by ancestors and passed down through the generations that includes traditional culture and a complex understanding of forest flora and wildlife. This is followed by the outback tradition of billy tea and damper, giving you the opportunity to tak with your Aboriginal hosts.<br><br>
